Ceramic heating element
Ceramic heating element
The electric heating element is not submersed but ceramic, dry, inserted into a steel sink. Since the water heater vessel and the sink are made of one type of material (steel), there is no galvanic cell and electrochemical corrosion. Other manufacturers mostly use submersible heating elements made of other types of materials (copper, stainless steel), and thus electrochemical corrosion occurs. The system of ceramic elements withstands extremely well hard and aggressive water and significantly prolongs the life of the vessel in any conditions.
Enameled steel vessel
Enameled steel vessel
The steel vessel of the heater from a special thick sheet withstands pressure shocks. It is equipped with high-quality nickel-free enamel, which in combination with a magnesium anode protection guarantees a long service life of all Dražice water heaters. Cleansing holes allow access to the inside of the container and to remove deposits and limescale, thus saving the cost of operation.
Magnesium anode
Magnesium anode
A magnesium anode as additional protection against corrosion also extends the life of the vessel and thus further increases the high utility value you get with the purchase of a DZ Dražice water heater.
Polyurethane insulation
Polyurethane insulation
A high-quality polyurethane insulation ensures low heat losses and low operating costs.
Since April 2017, we have been using ThermoGen4 polyurethane insulation foam by Covestro, thanks to which DZ Dražice heaters are now even more economical. For water heaters with capacity over 300 liters, we have also developed a modified version with even more efficient insulating properties.
Mobile app
Mobile app
Specially for OKHE SMART water heaters we have developed a mobile application available for devices with Android and iOS. The application allows to set up the DSM function, set up Smart modes, time planning (hour to days-long heating intervals, e.g. when going on vacation), monitor water heating with statistics (total, monthly, daily), view the amount of available hot water at a temperature of 40 °C.
