We are proud to announce that we have received the Obal roku (Packaging of the Year) 2020 award for our monomaterial packaging for the TO 5.1 and TO 10.1 water heater, developed together with our supplier Smurtfit Kappa. The new environmentally-friendly corrugated cardboard packaging (completely polystyrene-free) with its smart one-piece insert protects the product, considerably saves on costs and reduces carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere.

The winning products in the Obal roku competition were announced at the hybrid congress OBALKO 8 (27 to 28 January 2021), at which one of the speakers was our DZD Technical Director Lukáš Formánek. This is the only certified competition in the Czech Republic and Slovakia intended for companies involved in the development and use of interesting packaging solutions. The aim of the competition is to highlight and promote the best ideas, innovations and technologies in the field of packaging that appear on the domestic market, and to show appreciation for their engineers and designers.
